Sweet Babies

Please keep Jaymie and Kory Phillips in your prayers. Jaymie gave birth to Jayde Spencer (girl) and Kanyon Luke (boy) on March 26. Jaymie was 25 weeks into her pregnancy. You can keep up with the babies here - http://thephillipsphamily.blogspot.com/.

This family needs all of our prayers.

Thank you.

They're Just So Cute

Well, not much to report - we are quite boring, which is nice. Anyway, just wanted to show some recent pictures of the kids. Hannah really likes to dress up in her girly clothes (who would guess that). Thanks Aunt Jeana` for the pretties. We wear something pink and frilly every day.

And Caleb has become quite the artist lately. I can't wait to see how this progresses.

I had to take this picture a couple of times so he could get his light saber straight. Very particular, this one.

And this was from today as we were coming home from the gym. FYI - Caleb picked out Hannah's outfit today. Hannah didn't want to pick anything out and I thought having Caleb pick something would get her to pick out something. I thought Caleb did a good job. Hannah added the hair bows.

Doctor Appointment

My apologies. I have missed a few days on my blog- shame on me. Well, Monday was a big day...doctor appointments for the kids. I thought that both kids would need shots, so I decided to do their appointments over Spring Break. Those of you who know me know that I do not do well with needles, so I told Barry that he had to go with us. It turned out that only Caleb needed shots (3 of them) so Barry helped the nurse while Hannah and I left the room for a little walk. The kids are both growing - Caleb weighed 39 lbs. (33rd percentile) and was 43 ins. tall (18th percentile). Hannah weighed 27 lbs (3rd percentile) and was 36 ins tall (12th percentile). Finally, Hannah weighs more than 2 out of 100 other children. We are definitely going in the right direction. Here's a picture to tide you over and I will download more pics soon.

Caleb and Hannah wore these outfits to the gym the other day. My little eccentric dressers.

Drama!

We never know how the day is going to be around here - it depends on the mood of the princess when she wakes up. Yesterday, Caleb and Hannah asked if they could have a protein shake when we were done at the gym. As you can see from the picture below, Hannah was not thrilled with my answer. She was barely able to walk out of the gym since she was so distraught with my, "not today" answer and fussed all the way home.

After Hannah's good cry session and then some lunch she made a palette in the guest bedroom and took a nap. Crying wears a girl out!!!

Ok, here is Barry squatting 817 lbs!!!! (I'll post a picture of me doing the same weight next week. Ha Ha) The person behind Barry is his training partner - he makes sure Barry stays safe during his heavy lifts.

And here is a picture of Caleb from last summer. I have some recent pics on my camera that I need to download. I'll do that tomorrow.

Painted Toenails and Spring Fever

Okay, here is my second post in two days! I don't know how long I will be able to keep this up, but I will try my best. Today Hannah and I are having a "girly" day while Caleb is at school. She has wanting me to paint her findernails, but she has been biting them. I told her that they needed to grow out a little before I could paint them, so instead of painting her fingernails, I painted her toenails.

Oh and Caleb wanted to know why he was going to school today and I said that we was going "so he could learn". He then said "he was tired of learning". I told him to get used to learning - it is an everyday occurance.

We have pulled out the summer clothes this week as we have started having temps in the 70's, which has made me so happy. I have had the windows open on the house for a few days now. Today, however we might hit the 80's so we'll see if it gets too warm to leave the windows open. Yeah, yeah, I know...some of you have been in these temps for a while now.

And this week I am hoping to post some pictures of Barry lifting some heavy weights.

Hi family and friends!! I am so excited to finally be entering the blog world. I have so many things to share with you about our family. My goal is to make updates to this site everyday or at least every other day. I am going to be taking my camera with me everywhere now. I hope you guys will enjoy seeing the kiddos - they are growing so fast.

As promised here are some pictures from Christmas and then some other random pictures.
