And now the rest of the story...

Hi everyone. I am such a horrible blogger. I should just start posting pictures and not worry about the writing part. I hated writing papers in school and I'm still not that fond of writing now. That said, here are some pictures that will chronicle our activities over the last couple of weeks. I bet you guys are mostly interested in the pictures anyway - am I right?

Barry and I were cleaning out some files and had quite a few personal papers that needed to be destroyed. Hannah's paper from school (below) gave her teachers a little idea of what we had been doing at home.
A picture of some of Caleb's work. He really is doing well. I can say that because his teacher told me that at our conference.
There is a town nearby named Louisburg and it has a Cider Mill. Every October the Mill has a little festival (however it is no Yamboree!!). Here is Caleb sliding down the big inflatable slide. He loved it. Here is another picture of Caleb and if you look really hard (you may have to enlarge) you can find Hannah.
Hannah climbed up to the top but could not gather the nerve to slide down so the lady managing the slide climbed up and gave Hannah, and another little one, a ride down. After the initial co-slide Hannah wanted to go again, but it was not allowed.
The big ticket item we did at the festival was face painting - Caleb got a tiger.
Hannah got a butterfly.
Cute, cute, cute!!!
After the festival we stopped at a nearby pumpkin patch.
Tired and pouting - not wanting to pose for a picture and Caleb refused to cooperate.
Silly goose!
Do you remember the "Where's Waldo?" books? Well, this is "Where's Caleb?"

"Where's Caleb?" level 2. Will definitely need to enlarge.
Hannah finally deciding to cooperate and pose. What is it with things having to happen on her terms. I have a feeling the teen years might be interesting.

Really warming up to the camera.
Ah ha!! I finally caught you!! He thought that I had forgotten about him. But I fooled him!!!
Just a picture of the pumpkins in the patch.
Hannah and Autumn at Fritz's Railroad Restaurant.

Caleb and Hannah being totally distracted by train.
Again, being distracted. OK, you see the little phone there? Well, when you are ready to order you pick up the phone, push a button and place your order with the operator.
Caleb checking out the model train driving by our table.
Once your order is ready a little train brings it to your table via high platform the then lowers to your table. The kids loved it!
This is a picture of the hot dog that Hannah ordered for lunch. Apparently this is one of their trademark things.
A picture of the three of them after lunch. Hannah is not wanted to get her picture taken. Can't you tell?
Caleb is so cute. Hannah is pouting.
He is getting to be so big! Just a random pic.
After lunch we went to Hallmark's Kaleidoscope, downtown at Crown Center. Caleb loved it.
More pics.
Caleb being creative.

A good picture of our friend Autumn.
Hannah being creative.
Caleb's creative accomplishment.
Could she be any cuter?
Just playing.
More playing.
Happy Hannah!
Working hard.
More creativity.
Happy Happy Joy Joy

One of the neat things at Kaleidoscope.
The kids were able to design their own puzzles. They drew whatever they wanted and then ran it through a special machine that cut out a neat puzzle.
Working on a puzzle.
This is the hand washing station. How cute, huh?
A group picture. At the end of the day.

Whew, that was a lot, huh? I hope you guys enjoyed the pictures and what I may start doing is just loading pictures without comments on a more regular basis. Just a thought. I will definitely post next week after Halloween.
